Friends of the Foundation - what is it? Why are we doing it?

AFC Fylde Community Foundation are proud to launch our new 'Friends of the Foundation' scheme.

Last week, we unveiled Central Insurance as our first ever 'Friend of the Foundation' - but what exactly does that entail?

'Friends of the Foundation' is a new project we have implemented to improve our standing with local businesses and to provide them with exclusive benefits.

This provides local businesses with the opportunity to have a true impact on their community, whilst organically connecting with the thousands of our service users and partners.

Opportunities will arise such as complimentary access to our networking events, job fairs, coffee mornings and celebration events and, the chance to make a lasting and meaningful difference to people's lives.

Any business who becomes our friend, all their staff will receive a variety of discounts to make the most of our paid services such as our Football Development Centre or Holiday Camps, whilst also receiving discount for the AFC Fylde Club Shop.

Our priority is the community of Fylde, so why shouldn't we consider local businesses in our attempt at development? We believe we have a positive network that can provide local businesses with the platform to progress even further.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Brett Whitehead, said: "We believe this is a strong initiative that will help the Foundation's support for the Fylde community and bolster local businesses stature.

"We are delighted to have got this project up and running, and we look forward to meeting like-minded people as a result."
