Updated: Sep 15

AFC Fylde Community Foundation are delighted to announce the launch of our latest Impact Report.

Our Annual Impact Report showcases the influence we have within our local community, with figures such as the over 7,500 people we supported throughout the year of 2024.

Highlighting the great work and development of the three pillars of the Foundation - Community Engagement, Employability, Education and Skills, and Schools Services.

In the report, is a break down of the 7,500 people who received our support, as you flick through heart-warming stories showcasing where we have helped improve the lives of individuals, of all ages, within the Fylde community.

There is a further statistical breakdown to show how many people were supported via specific programmes, how many people are supported through group activities or whether it is on a one-to-one basis.

Publishing a yearly Impact Report provides ourselves with the opportunity to reflect not just upon the last 12 months, but also allows us to compare with previous years - to see how we've developed and can help us to decide where might need a bit more extra support.

The idea of the Impact Report is to provide complete transparency with how we operate and who we support. Our mission is:

To harness the power of sport and the influence of football, working in partnership with AFC Fylde and local organisations, to help people across Fylde realise their potential and thrive.

The Foundation's Chief Executive Officer, Chris Brannigan, oversaw the second half of 2024 after stepping into his role in July last year. He said: "The Borough of Fylde, and its subcommunities, have always been the heartbeat of the Foundation, and the focus of our efforts."

"Thanks to our people and our partners, it has been another busy yet successful year for the Foundation in relentlessly combatting the issues faced by the community.

"2024 showed that our communities continue to be affected by a number of difficulties, barriers to the labour market, social isolation, accessibility to key services and a range of challenges in between."

If whilst you are reading the Impact Report, you feel like you would benefit from one of our services, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via community@afcfylde.co.uk.

Ultimately, the essence of travel is not just about moving from one place to another but about creating stories and connections that endure long after the trip ends. Morocco offers countless opportunities for such meaningful encounters, yet navigating them independently can sometimes limit the depth of the experience. Integrating Morocco luxury tours into that process allows travelers to step into Morocco with confidence, knowing that every stage has been thought through while leaving enough space for spontaneous discovery. This combination of careful planning and openness to the unexpected is what turns a vacation into a true life experience.
