There's still time to donate to Fylde Kids Christmas Gift Appeal 2023!

AFC Fylde Community would like to thank everyone in the local community for their generous donations to our Fylde Kids Christmas Gift Appeal so far – and there is still time to get involved!

As a Foundation, we are working with local partners, Fylde Council, Fylde Rugby Community Foundation, Light Church, Streetwise and iHope, to give vulnerable families peace of mind and help make the festive period a little more special for children across Fylde.

And the response from individuals and businesses locally has been fantastic, with the community coming together to support those who need it this festive period.

There is still time to spread some cheer and make a child’s Christmas by donating to the charity’s Fylde Kids Christmas Gift Appeal.

Over 400 local children will be supported through the Fylde Kids Christmas Gift Appeal this year.

Donations of new, unwrapped presents suitable or boys and girls aged between two to 16 years-old can be made until Friday 15th December.

Any gift would be greatly appreciated, and you can drop-off presents at Fylde Sports and Education Centre, Mill Farm Sports Village, PR4 3JZ.

Sadly, we know that this will be a tough Christmas for local families with the financial impact of the rise in the cost of living continuing to cause an unprecedented challenge for thousands of the most disadvantaged low-income families and individuals living in our borough.

AFC Fylde first-team midfielder Josh Kay (pictured), alongside his team-mates, have kindly supported our Fylde Kids Christmas Gift Appeal, and will be delivering the presents to youngsters next week, in another shining example of AFC Fylde’s support to AFC Fylde Community Foundation.

All presents donated will be allocated to vulnerable families to ensure every child in the Fylde borough receives a Christmas present this year.
