Earlier this week, new AFC Fylde Head Coach, Craig Mahon, voluntarily welcomed Linton Primary School on their visit to Mill Farm.
AFC Fylde Community Foundation invited Linton to participate in a mini careers event. Members of the club coaching staff, marketing department and the Foundation's Football and Education Co-ordinator and Schools Services Manager all gave up their time to educate the students.
The purpose of the event was to provide the students with an insight into how many roles there are within a football club - showing them that there are numerous career paths within
their dream industry.

After hosting that talk at Fylde Sports and Education Centre (FSEC), they headed for Mill Farm, where newly appointed Head Coach, Craig Mahon, and new Assistant Head Coach, Alex Kenyon, met the group at the stadium reception.
They took the time to introduce themselves before leading the students into the changing rooms and giving them a behind the scenes tour of Mill Farm.
Craig provided an in-depth breakdown of who you need to successfully run a football club whilst answering all their questions.
The group went pitchside to admire the all-new turf ready for the upcoming season before

stopping for photos.
Up next on their afternoon at Mill Farm Sports Village was to head back to FSEC for a kickabout with our coaching staff.
Our Schools Services Manager, Dan Monckton, said: "It's great to be able to provide an opportunity like this for Linton Primary School, it's not everyday you get to take advantage of your local football club's facilities and staff.
"Craig being there wasn't in our original plan as this was arranged a few weeks ago, but when he saw the kids arrive, he volunteered to give up his time and take them on a stadium tour which was amazing.
"It's a great first impression considering it was day one of his tenure and the Foundation is looking forward to working closely with Craig and Alex throughout the upcoming campaign."
We would like to thank Linton Primary School for their cooperation and we hope you all had a lovely time, it was a pleasure to welcome you to Mill Farm and we hope to see you all back soon.
