AFC Fylde Community Foundation’s Traineeship Project returns this October!
Following a successful first round of trainees, the Foundation is delighted to announce that its Traineeship project returns this October. The project is funded by Northern Training Academy, and provides participants with the chance to undertake placement in their chosen sector, as well as access to further education courses.
The project is open to those aged 16 – 24 who are currently unemployed. The Foundation works closely with each participant to understand their career aspirations and areas in which they need help, to enable them to se
cure work experience and help start their career.
The first cohort of Trainees have successfully found placement in various sectors, such as Sports Coaching, Landscaping and Business Administration, with the Foundation having access to various other areas of work for Trainees to undertake placement in.
