AFC Fylde Community Foundation has won the Fylde Active Community Awards 2022 Contribution to Active Communities – Group award.
The Foundation has enjoyed a successful year of growth, operating innovatively and introducing new initiatives to support the local community.
Programmes in all of the Foundation’s areas of activity – community development, health and wellbeing, and employability and skills – have continued to grow, while new initiatives such as Fylde Loneliness Prevention, Football Welcomes and Armed Forces Community projects have engaged new members of the community in our programmes.
Foundation Director Wesley Partington said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as winners of the Contribution to Active Communities award”.
“The Foundation has enjoyed a fantastic year of growth, introducing new projects that meet the needs of our local community. Our passionate and skilled team have work incredibly hard and this award is testament to their dedication to supporting our local community.
