The Foundation often hosts one off events or presents awards that don't fall under the umbrella of any of our traditional projects - but that doesn't mean they don't deserve highlighting. We pride ourselves in trying to bring together the local community as often as we can and having an ever lasting positive impact on the Fylde Borough.
Community Captain
Mohamed Hashim was presented with the Community Captain award for his outstanding contributions to our Football Welcomes project throughout the season.
Community Player of the Year
We presented AFC Fylde Goalkeeper, Theo Richardson, as your 2024 Community Player of the Year. Richardson was an ever present figure throughout the season within the Community.
Young Leader of the Year
Harry McNally was awarded the Foundation's 2024 Young Leader of the Year award. This is as a result of his constant hard work as a volunteer on AFC Fylde home matchdays.
Easter Bingo
Bradley's Sports Bar was packed with guests eager to play Easter Bingo, hosted by the Community Foundation to help raise funds for the AFC Fylde Supporters Group.
Fylde Kids Christmas Appeal
We worked alongside local partners and AFC Fylde to distribute over 1500 Christmas presents to 417 children and young people as part of the annual Fylde Kids Christmas Appeal.
