Since 2016 AFC Fylde Community Foundation has been able to offer Employment support to people across the Fylde area delivering employment help and support to ages 15 plus. 

With Staff who are qualified to support those people in need meeting in places where they are comfortable and when they are ready to do this

Building Better Opportunities (BBO) is a national programme from The National Lottery Community Fund who are matching funds from the European Social Fund (ESF) 2014-2020 to invest in local projects tackling the root causes of poverty, promoting social inclusion and driving local jobs and growth.

Through our Divert project we are able to offer support and guidance to those who may find themselves in police custody supported by Lancashire VRN this project has a Youth and Adult routes.

DIVERT always remains an open offer and an opportunity to make positive change. A number of young adults have reconnected with DIVERT after being released from prison, emphasising the impact the conversation in police custody had had on them.

The Twinning Project is a partnership between Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and professional football clubs with the objective of twinning every prison in England and Wales with a local professional football club. AFC Fylde Community Foundation is twinned with HMP Kirkham on the Twinning project aimed at getting inmates accredited Qualifications
