The AFC Fylde Community Foundation, is committed to offering sporting opportunities to all areas of our community. Working in partnership with Pear Tree Specialist School, Kirkham, The Foundation deliver a number of inclusive sporting opportunities to pupils ranging from year 1 to sixth form pupils.
The Foundation has fostered strong links with various local support groups who support the Foundations inclusive sports activities which take place throughout Fylde.

The AFC Fylde Community Foundation have been working with Pear Tree Children Centre for over two years.
Pear Tree is a special state school and our Physical Activity Officer Ryan Vaughan has been actively delivering sessions over the two years. Ryan, 21, believes working with children with various disabilities is rewarding. Ryan said, “I really enjoy working at Pear Tree. The children are amazing and it’s extremely rewarding working with them. I look forward coaching/educating with the children every week.”
Paula McKee, who has been with Pear Tree for numerous years, expressed her delight working with The AFC Fylde Community Foundation. “The AFC Fylde Community Foundation has done an excellent job since coming in. The children love Ryan and it’s good to see someone so passionate when they deliver their sessions.”
